Three Passes Trek

Returning to Nepal in April/May to do the Three Passes Trek, which encompasses all the very best of the Everest Region including Gokyo Lakes and EBC. Hoping to get off the beaten track a bit away from the crowds.
I have already trekked for 5 weeks in Nepal, completing Manaslu and Annapurna Base Camp treks and now looking for something a bit more challenging.
Plan to complete the Three Passes in around 16 – 20 days depending on side trips and acclimatisation days and I will be going with my Sherpa friend as a guide who has guided me before.
Could probably do it unguided but I like the idea of a bit more company and someone who knows the terrain, the language and the lodges everywhere.
I am looking for a couple more people to join. me on this trek and share the cost of our guide.

  2. Hi Harley I am Planing For PIN PARWATI PASS TREK ( parvati valley – spiti valley – 10-11 days – approx 100kms trek)Himachal Pradesh , India , (Date: on June 2018 , date can be flexible according to weather condition)

Plan: – Not to go via any company but arrange on own. I’m wondering if 3 more people can join in. Idea is, we can hire 2-3 porter.

    Why?

*This way it will be very cheap per day cost 3 porter 500 Rs *3 = 1500. From travel companies it cost around 25-30k even more per person.

It will not be a luxurious trip. We need to carry some laguage and provide help in bedding and cooking if required. Feels good…right? Its says one of the toughest trek of India with Full of adventure,

  5. Hey Harley, I’m planning to go to Nepal around may 8th and would love to do the EBC trek. Got recommended the Gokyo lakes today, so I’m very interested in joining!

  6. Hi!

I’m also looking to do EBC + Gokyo starting April End and I’ll be having the entire month of May by myself for this pursuit. I’m touching grounds in Nepal on April 25th, shall be taking couple of days in Kathmandu to get the gear and the other necessities/permits ready and then start

I’m a solo traveller, on a shoestring budget but don’t mind spending wherever necessary. Not willing to join an organised group, but don’t mind sharing a guide/porter

Please let me know if you’re Interested, so that we get to know each other before joining forces!
