Three Passes Trek, Gokyo Ri & EBC via Jiri

I’m planning to do three passes trek including Gokyo lake in everest region starting 1st week of March 2016.
I’ll approach Namche Bazar from Jiri instead of taking flight to Lukla. Starting trek from Jiri will provide more trekking days for high altitude trek preparedness. I had been to Nepal couple of times for hiking and did EBC, Annapurna circuit and few more short durations treks in Nepal earlier. I’ll prefer to do this trek as independent trekker without any guide or porter as i’m fairly familier with Nepal’s hiking setup and everest region.
Anyone heading in same direction is welcome to join me.

  3. Hey Ajay,

Sounds like a great trip! I land in Kathmandu on the 1st March and was thinking of getting the bus to Jiri soon after. What day are you planning on starting the trek?

Im 25, from the UK, and do a lot of trail running and cycling so I’m in fairly good shape.
