Trekking Partners for AC trek

Hi,

My plan is to reach Kathmandu on September 22, 2014 and move to Besisahar on 23rd to start the trek. I’ll spend 21 days in Annapurna region before moving back to Kathmandu on Oct 14.

I did EBC trek in Nepal and quite a few high altitude treks in Indian Himalayas earlier and my pace is ok to cope up with experianced hiker.

I have decided to do this trek as an independent trekker without hiring any trekking agency or guide.

I welcome you to join me on this trek and am also flexible to share the cost if you like to hire guide/porter for your trek.

Looking forward to hear from you guys.

Thanks
Ajay

  1. I am planning as well to do the circuit as well without a guide or porter. I just got back from Lukla today after 14 days to EBC. I’m staying in Thamel for a few nights before I head to start hiking again. Let me know if you’d be interested in meeting up, my schedule is flexible as I don’t leave KTM till Oct 31. I plan on spending the rest of my time in Pohkara after the circuit.

I currently reside in Colorado and do a lot of climbing out there and would be fine with fast, steady or slow pace.

Let me know if your interested.

    Cheers
    Jason

  2. Hey Jason, Good to hear from you and you are welcome to join me for AC trek. I’ll arrive in Kathmandu from New Delhi on Monday ( Sep.22 ) and reach Thamel around 12 noon. I’ll stay in Thamel on 22nd night and take a early morning bus to Besisahar on Sep. 23 if I could arrange AC trek permit on Sep.22 afternoon. I am absolutely flexible on itinerary and want to explore Annapurna region as much as possible for next 21-22 days. We can connect once I reach Thamel on 22nd.
    Thanks
