Upper Mustang Trek

Welcome to the Upper Mustang Trekking is one of the exiting trekking in the Nepal. Mustang was once an independent kingdom, although closely tied by language and culture to Tibet. Formerly kingdom of Lo, is a remote and isolated region of the Nepalese Himalayas. The Upper Mustang was a restricted demilitarized area until 1992 which makes it one of the most preserved regions in the world, with a majority of the population still speaking traditional Tibetan language and cultural has been preserved by the relative isolation of the region from the outside world.
Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Drive or fly to Pokhara, (200km Check in hotel at Lake Side).

Day 04: Fly to Jomsom 2720m and commence trek to Kagbeni (2810m).

Day 05: Trek to Chusang or Chele 3050m).

Day 06: Trek to Gilling 3570m).

Day 07: Trek to Ghami (3,460m.

Day 08: Trek to Charanag (3560m).

Day 09: Trek to Lo Manthang (3,730m).

Day 10: Excursion around Lo Manthang.

Day 11: Hike up to Choser or Namgyal Monastery.

Day 12-14: Return trek to Kagbeni via Ghar (Monastery) gompa and Chele

Day 15: Visit Muktinath and back to Jomsom by jeep.

Day 16: Fly /Drive to Pokhara.

Day 17: Rest day in Pokhara.

Day 18-19: Drive to Chitwan National Park /Lumbini on the way Rafting in Trisuli River (Option).

Day 20: Return to Kathmandu.

Day 21: Final Departure.

Upper Mustang Trek Permit Costs USD 500 .00 for first 10 days then USD 50.00 each extra day.
ACAP Permit is required that cost NPR. 3000.00 =(US$30.00) Per person
