Volunteer in Nepal looking for an easy trekking vacation.

I’m working in Nepal for a year and would like to trek some of Nepal during my first vacation in January. I’m not an experienced trekker but I’m pretty fit and I’ve been walking a lot for my job in the hill region of Nepal. I’m excited for anything and some what flexible on budget and place so long as it is around one week.

  1. Hi! I’ll be in Nepal from the 4th – 27th of january and was thinking about doing the Ghorepani – Poonhill trek beginning from around the 9th or 10th. I think this kind of trek can take around 5-7 days. It’s a fairly easy one to do, with no really high altitudes (as I’m not an experienced trekker either that’s best for me I think). So I was looking for someone to do this with and sounds like we’re kinda on the same page 🙂 How do you feel about leaving around that time? Or is your date january 3rd really fixed for you?

  2. Hi Julia,

Unfortunately that date is fixed for me. My entire break from work begins in Kathmandu on January 2 and ends there on January 12. If your dates are flexible, let me know!

  3. Well, at earliest I could leave on the 5th, because I only arrive on the 4th (in Kathmandu). But maybe that’s cutting it a bit short.. What do you think? We still need time to meet up before and arrange it..
