Ghandruk Trek

In 2014, I enjoyed the Ghandruk Trek. I intended to do the Annapurna Circuit trek but due to time constraints I decided to do the Ghandruk Trek. A french mate I met in Pokhara would be my trekking mate. We completed the whole trek in 6 days, with some days walking more than others. We never paid for a room, as we negotiated with the guesthouses to have 2 meals in exchange for free room. I recommend to take it easy, enjoy nature and respect local traditions. Some local guides were very friendly and told us to join them. The best part of the trek were both the landscapes and the local people. Really, if you treat them well and offer a good smile, they will be so kind to you. I was offered special food just because of this. The views on Poon Hill are just amazing. Very recommended!!!!

If you have any doubts or questions I’ll be happy to help you 🙂
