Tour du Mont Blanc

Bring toiletpaper and deodorant.

It was my very first trekking/hiking experience and I did it solo aswell at age 17. It took me 9 days but I wasted many hours getting lost and making newbie mistakes. ( such as not taking the scarcity of supermarkets seriously, resulting in me not having food for half a day )

Mistakes I made:

1. Don’t get lost. And if you do get lost, don’t be afraid to turn back.
2. Stock up. Everytime you see a toilet or a water fountain, use it. It may be the last one you see in a while.
3. Don’t buy things in Switzerland, it’s hella expensive.

Recommended Gear

  • Backpack, Hiking Boots, Hiking Poles, Sleeping Bag, Sunglasses

Camping can save you a lot of money and stocking up on food is a way to save money aswell.
